Book Words 2-3

Hey!!

Here is the next 2 entries for my book!

Enjoy!

Abbreviation
The shorter version of many words; Usually the first letter of all the words.
For example: BFF- Best Friend Forever
There are a LOT of abbreviations in my life such as: IDK, IDC, BFF, OMG, L8R, G2G, SUP, LOL, OH, =),=P,=D, BBS, BRB, KIT, TTYL, C U, JK, K, THO, THX obvi, JB, JMB* and more that I don’t feel like thinking about right now.
And, if you want to know what they mean, look it up!
This is the 21 Century you know.

Academic
If you are smart or gifted in something, specifically school.
I am considered “academic” in all of my classes at school.
I took two tests last year to see if I could become accelerated in math and L.A., and I missed the qualifying numbers by just a few points each!
I was very upset.
But, life still goes on and I am still acing all of my classes. =)

MY BOOK!!

Hey guys!

This is the first entry in a book encyclopedia about my life that I have been working on in some of my spare time.

Enjoy!

Me, This Book, and Life
By: Jenny B

Like an Encyclopedia, but better

_______________________________A

A
The first letter in the alphabet.
Usually the first entry in an encyclopedia.
But, more importantly, the first entry in the Book of ME, Jenny B!  YAY!  Exclamation point!!!!!  Happy dance!!! Etc.!
I am VERY happy to start off this book on Wednesday, July 8th at 9:25 a.m.!
If you are reading this, you are probably wondering why I am writing this and I will tell you why.  I read this book, called The Encyclopedia of Me, and I liked it so much that I wanted to write a book of my own just like that!*
So yesterday I was like, “Mom?  Do you think I could write a book about myself?”
She said, “Yeah! Sure.  Go ahead.  Just let me spell check it first.”  “Mom, I know you’re a grammar teacher, but do you have to correct everything?!? “  “
I’m sorry honey, but it's just who I am!”
“Thanks mom!  Love ya!”
“Love you too honey.”
Yes, she actually was a college English teacher and she always helps me with my L.A. HW, but enough about her.  I can’t wait to get into writing this book!!!  Maybe I will publish it!!!  Probably not.  I am only 12 years old ya know!

*Whenever you see an asterisk like this (*) just look at the bottom of the page because I have a little side note that I would like to add in.
In this book, I will probably be using some of the exact lines from Encyclopedia of Me, and I give all the credit to the author of that book.  Please keep this in mind!
